Placemark · every floor, in Places

Your floor plans become Microsoft Places maps, floor by floor.

Places is already in your calendar with Microsoft 365; the map is the missing piece. Placemark reads the DXF, PDF or scan you already have, drafts the rooms, and packages the map Places imports — with your approval on every floor.

When the architect sends a new drawing

Placemark shows what changed, and you approve only that.

Added, removed, renamed, resized — each change listed against the last drawing. Unchanged rooms keep their Places ids, so bookings and analytics are not disturbed.

One sample drawing became 41 mapped spaces in 1.7 seconds — none needed a hand.

Six steps from a drawing to a live floor

Each floor moves through place, review and publish. You approve every one.

  1. UploadDXF, plotted PDF, scan or image — every format you hold.
  2. DraftRooms drafted, named and categorized from the drawing.
  3. PlaceTwo points place the floor on the building.
  4. ReviewDirectory rooms matched by name, one click each. Sections and desks drawn where you want them.
  5. ValidateMicrosoft’s dry run answers before anything is published.
  6. PublishRead-back tells you when the floor is live in Places.
Licenses, counted before you buy

Microsoft’s rule, counted from your own directory.

A Shared Space license makes desks bookable — one per four desks. Placemark counts; you buy.

What your admin consents to

App-only. One application permission. No one’s password.

IMDF

The open, GeoJSON-based map package Microsoft Places reads: six files, one building per zip. Placemark writes it; you can open it.

Shared Space license

The Teams license that makes a desk bookable. Placemark tells you how many before you buy any.

App-only permission

One application permission your admin consents to once, plus the Exchange roles Microsoft requires, as a script you run yourself.

You approve every floor

Nothing reaches Places until you say so, and a revised drawing changes only what you approve.

A one-building pilot, with your own drawings

You approve every floor before it goes live.

Pilots are opened on request after a short verification. Placemark has no published price yet — a principal scopes each pilot plainly.
